I have a degree in Modern Languages and a Master’s in English Language Teaching specialising in English for Academic Purposes. I lived and worked in Italy, so I have experienced the rewards and challenges of improving my own additional language skills. I have an interest in psychology and counselling and have experience in this area.

I have studied and taught in American, Syrian, German, and British universities. I speak Arabic and German and know what it’s like adapting to a new culture. I have a Master's in Applied Linguistics, and my teaching aim is to inspire a lasting love for and appreciation of the English language in my students.
The School of Law invites all students across any Faculty of Social Sciences subject to join them in their new Debate Club, taking place on 26th January, 1pm and 2nd February, 1pm!
By joining the Debate Club, you will have the opportunity to learn how to present your ideas and arguments whilst interrogating those of your opponents. This is an exciting opportunity to exercise your public speaking skills and develop confidence in putting forward your views.

My academic background is languages and translation, so I’m firmly rooted in the humanities. I can provide support for students across the schools in areas such as qualitative research methods, referencing, structuring, and advanced library searching. I’m at my best helping students make sense of their own ideas and then making those ideas make sense on the page.
