What is this topic about?
Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is a type of artificial intelligence that creates content such as text, images, audio and much more. To generate new content with similar characteristics it learns from existing data and identifies patterns. Although the resource it provides won’t be a direct copy of the training data, it’s important to understand how to use it appropriately and ethically. Misuse of GenAI can result in an allegation of academic misconduct.
There are lots of resources to support you to understand what GenAI is and how to use it appropriately.
