Sophia Vänttinen-Newton's Bio

I look after the pre-sessional English courses at Arden, and I enjoy empowering students to achieve their maximum potential for undergraduate and postgraduate study. My research interest lies in how we give, receive and apply feedback in academic assignments, and I have a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics. In my spare time, I love learning languages, swimming and travelling, and I have lived and worked abroad in Japan, France and Romania.
