Need something that’s not in the Library collection? Use our new Request it! service to request books, chapters, or articles to be delivered straight to your inbox.

Although the Arden Library Portal already provides access to thousands of eBooks and journals, we know there are times when you need a book chapter or article that you can’t find in the Library collection. You will now be able to use Request it! to get fast and easy access to a broader range of academic resources for use in your assignments and dissertations.

Two easy ways to request

Using Request it! is quick and easy. You can request articles or book chapters via two convenient methods:

  • Library Catalogue button: A new button embedded in the Library catalogue will allow you to request materials directly, so you can quickly and easily request the resources you need whilst searching.

  • Request it! form on the Learning Success Hub: Alternatively, you can fill in the request form available on the Learning Success Hub website, providing us with all the details about the resource that you need.

Once your request is processed, your resource will be delivered to your inbox for your own personal use. Remember not to share with others as the service is for individual requests only.

Get started today!

Whether you're working on a challenging assignment or researching in-depth for your dissertation, the Request it! service is here to support you and remove barriers to your research.
