Don't forget that Green Libraries Week starts next Monday 2nd October - and there's still time for you to get involved!

We have a wide range of special workshops running online all week, which you can find out more about and book onto here on our Green Libraries Week page

You can also share your song suggestions for our Green Libraries Week playlist and contribute to our special environmental and sustainability eBook collection - all details are available on the webpage above.

PLUS!

Especially for both National Poetry Day and Green Libraries Week, there will be an extra creative session running - "Poetry for Everybody" will be taking place on Thursday 5th October, 3pm-4.30pm.

This workshop is the perfect introduction to poetry for anyone curious about expressing themselves in writing. Through a series of intuitive prompts and thoughtful exercises, our Academic Skills Tutor and award-winning poet, Christopher, will take you through every aspect of writing a poem – from structure and perspective to metaphor, focus, and endings. There will also be space to share your poems (anonymously, if you prefer) and time for feedback and supportive critique.

Remember! We're holding a prize draw for students who take part in our Green Libraries Week activities. Get involved and you could be in with a chance of winning a Samsung tablet device, to read all your university eBooks on! Full terms and conditions apply.

We hope to see you next week, to celebrate with us!
