Whether you’re calling it your ‘major project’ or your ‘dissertation,’ we know it can feel overwhelming. A lot of students tell us they’re not quite sure where to start, what’s expected, or how to turn their ideas into something structured.

That’s exactly why our Academic Skills Tutors created a series of six short workshops, open to all students. These workshops will guide you through the process, from early ideas to final formatting. They’re practical, supportive, and full of examples and ideas you can build upon in your own projects.

The workshops are on Wednesdays 13:30 - 14:30 (UK time).
Here’s what’s coming up:

1st October – Research Questions

8th October – Ethics Forms & Proposals

15th October – Structure

22nd October – Literature Reviews

29th October – Qualitative Methodologies

5th November – Quantitative Methodologies

These workshops were built based on real student feedback and common struggles, so if you've been nodding along so far, you're not alone.

You don’t need to attend every session, just come along to the ones that are most useful to you. They're designed around common student questions and challenges, so no pressure to know it all in advance.

No need to book, just join the zoom link below 😊
