We hope you are enjoying exploring your new eBook platform, Kortext, where you can access thousands of eBooks, personalise your reading with a range of learning tools and accessibility features, and read offline using the Kortext App.

To make sure you have enough time to save any notes and lists of books you are currently using on BibliU, we have extended access to the BibliU platform until Thursday 20th June. After this date, the platform will no longer be accessible, and you will lose access to any saved materials.

What do I need to do before 20th June?

Kortext will be replacing BibliU as the new home for many of your key reading materials. To ensure you don't lose any of your saved resources and to prepare for the change, you will need to:

  • Make a note of any books that you are currently reading, including the chapter or page number. This will allow you to easily pick up where you left off with any books on your bookshelf when we move to the new platform. A short video showing you how to do this can be found here: Creating a list of current eBooks from BibliU

  • Make a copy of any critical notes from BibliU and save them somewhere that you can easily access and refer back to – this could be done by copying and pasting or taking a screenshot to capture your notes. A short video showing you how to do this can be found here: Copying notes from eBooks on BibliU

  • Export any citations from books you are using to keep your reference list correct and up to date. A short video showing you how to do this can be found here: Downloading references from BibliU

  • Download or export any eBook references you have saved to your bookmarked and project areas in the Library Portal – eBooks previously saved in your bookmarked and project areas on the Library Portal may be affected by the move to the new platform, this will ensure you keep a record of your saved items. A short video showing you how to do this can be found here: Downloading or exporting Library Portal records
