This month the Library Spotlight falls on LibKey Nomad: one of Arden University Library’s strongest tools for helping with your academic literature searches.

LibKey Nomad is a free browser extension that facilitates access to scholarly articles by integrating with the Arden University Library systems. Its primary purpose is to enhance research efficiency and accessibility for academics and students, helping you quickly find the sources you need.

The key advantages of adding LibKey Nomad to your research process include:

  • Instant Access: LibKey Nomad provides users with quick access to full-text articles available through Arden University Library subscriptions. This reduces the need for clicking through multiple links and paywalls to get to a source.
  • Wide-Ranging Integration: The extension integrates with academic publishers, popular academic databases, and search engines such as Google Scholar. This means users can access articles directly from their search results in a variety of places.
  • Compatibility: LibKey Nomad is compatible with the most commonly used browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox. Best of all, you don’t even need to sign up to use it.
