What is BrowZine?

Academic journals are collections of scholarly articles covering the latest in-depth research in specific subjects or disciplines. The Arden Library collection contains thousands of journals and journal articles that can be accessed through the Library Portal keyword search tool.

BrowZine is a journal platform that brings together all the academic journals in the Library collection. It allows you to browse by subject, search by journal title, save articles for offline reading, and build a personal library.

You can also download the BrowZine App and keep up with your journal reading, wherever you go.

How to use BrowZine

Top Tips for Getting Started

  • Top Tip 1

Use BrowZine to browse and explore journals from the Arden Library collection by either journal title or specific subject area. Just keep in mind that BrowZine searches by journal title or subject, not article content. Use the Library Portal for keyword searches.

Create a personalised reading experience by saving articles to your My Bookshelf area. Add your favourite journals and receive notifications when new issues are available. Sign in to track and organise your journal collection.

  • Top Tip 3

Save articles for offline reading, perfect for catching up on research while offline. Simply download and store articles in advance, and you can access them anywhere, even without an internet connection.

  • Top Tip 4

Use the app for seamless reading. The BrowZine App is available for iOS and Android, giving you mobile access to your saved journals and articles. Your account syncs across devices, so you can start reading on your computer and continue on your phone or tablet.

  • Top Tip 5

Make the most of your research by saving individual articles in the My Articles area. Organise them into collections and export them to citation manager tools for easy referencing in your academic work.
