Accessibility Features

Read Aloud

When accessing books on the browser or Kortext app., most eBooks have a read aloud funtion. For titles without this option, the platform is compatible with screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack. Please note, these are just some suggested screen readers, the platform should be compatible with most screen readers and browser combinations.

Change text size

Text size can be adjusted just the Display options tool. You can also adjust the font style and layout.

Change background colour

Kortext has an inbuilt option within the Display options tool to change the background colour.

Keyboard navigation 

The Kortext platform is designed to be fully navigable using just a keyboard.

Read offline

Using the Kortext app., eBooks can be downloaded for access when you are offline. The print option will also enable you to save a chapter or short section as a PDF.
