We want every student to feel confident using library resources and to have full access to everything available through the Library Portal.

eBook accessibility features

Kortext eBooks

Kortext is an eBook platform containing thousands of eBooks on all subject areas. You can read your eBooks on the go with the Kortext App, personalise your reading with a range of accessibility features, and access other tools including highlighting text and making notes, copying and pasting text, and printing.

Convert your documents

We’ve selected resources with accessibility in mind, but if you still face challenges or have specific learning needs, there are tools available to convert content into more accessible formats. SensusAccess is a self-service solution that allows you to automatically convert documents into a variety of alternative formats.

RNIB Bookshare

If you have an eligible print disability, the Library can provide access to RNIB Bookshare. The RNIB Bookshare education collection provides access to over 1 million textbooks and materials in accessible formats, with new titles regularly added.
