As of September 2024, our Library Service will undergo a rebrand and transform into your brand new Learning Success Hub! Here you will be provided with all the academic tools and resources you will need to be successful in your studies all in one place.

Your Learning Success Hub will be home to the following resources:

  • Arden University Library Portal

Free online 24/7 access to an extensive digital library containing the academic resources you need for your study and assignments.

  • Academic Skills Support

Workshops, one-to-one appointments, and teaching sessions focused on academic writing, referencing, research, and study skills. Plus, support with developing skills in maths, statistics, and programming.

  • English Language Hub

Academic English courses, resources and support for those of you who are studying with English as an additional language.

Why are we making these improvements?

This change will ensure you can easily discover and access our extensive range of resources, services, and support, providing you with the tools and assistance you need to succeed throughout your academic studies.

Look for our upcoming online changes:

As part of this rebrand, we are redeveloping and renaming the current Library Portal website as our new Learning Success Hub. The new Learning Success Hub website will include the following:

  • New homepage, with a refreshed design and streamlined navigation.
  • News Hub, showcasing campaigns and collections, and keeping you updated on the latest news and events.

What will come later in 2024?

  • We will launch a software library to simplify accessing and installing the software you need for your studies on any device, from anywhere.
  • We will introduce online reading lists to make it even easier for you to access and use your module reading resources.
  • Our new Learning Success Hub will feature a 24/7 chat service, ensuring support is always available whenever and wherever you choose to study.

What changes are we making on Campus for you?

  • Many of our courses and workshops will now be provided by the Academic Skills Tutors and English Language Hub on campus, as well as the existing online support and resources.
  • You will also have the opportunity to meet with an Academic Skills Tutor or Academic English Lecturer on campus for more personalised support, giving you greater access to the teams and resources you need to succeed in your academic studies.

Happy Birthday to the Library Portal

As we look forward to this exciting transformation, we’re also reflecting on how far the Library Portal has come as it turns three years old this month. Take a look at this infographic to see some of our recent developments: 3 Years of the Arden University Library Portal.

Look for more updates as we get closer to our launch of the Learning Success Hub in September 2024. We look forward to sharing these exciting academic supports with you!
